TECH MAHINDRA PAPER ON 27th FEBRUARY 

hi i am arnab...BPPIMT CSE 3rd yr...
yesterday Tech Mahindra came for on campusing...

all started around 10.30a.m with ppt (it was basically a mixture of power point slides & an exciting video)...slides were showing growth rate, future prospect, infrastructures of Tech Mahindra. just try to note down a few points if possible from ppt...otherwise the information in the websites is enough.

next was the online aptitude test...1hr time & 75 questions...there were 5parts...no negative markings...
2parts were from simple maths, logical reasoning, alphabetical series, simple puzzles...(basically all were very very easy)
3 parts were from English
  a. fill in the blanks with article, prepositions, suitable verb forms
  b. multiple choice questions ( simple synony ms,correct & incorrect sentences)
  c. reading comprehension...10 questions...all were very easy...nothing to worry

the whole test was all about time management...all questions were answerable...but how many questions u attempt in 60mins is the most important thing...(don't get confused with any wrong options, or questions with out any options...those are simply to KILL the TIME and create confusions...be smart enough and avoid those questions)

result was out within an hour...52 out of 100(approx)were selected for the technical round... luckily i was the first person to face the technical music...

really i was lucky as it was more or less an H.R round (ha ha)...
the questions were...
1.give a brief introduction.
2.hobbies...
3.think that i don't know anything about C,C++...u just tell me what do know about those?
4.what have u done at the IIT project?
5.what do u know about telecom industry?

question no 3 was a real bonus for me...as C,C++ are my favt ones... actually that question sealed my position for the H.R interview ...rest questions were just a formality...

41 students were selected for the H.R interview...
again i was the first to face the H.R panel...
questions were very easy again (it took only 2-3mins) ...
1.brief introduction...(once again!!)
2.why this college?
3.any location preferences?
4.anything i want to ask?

it was a marathon wait...final results were out at almost 11-15 at night

MBT has the reputation of not cutting anyone after the H.R...they maintained their reputation...all 41 were selected... so if u can cross the technical round u are certainly there...
